Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, McHenry, Woodstock, Cary, Rochelle,
Oregon, Mount Morris, Byron, Polo, Dixon, DeKalb, and Sycamore

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 6 PM CST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Snow will begin mid to
late afternoon and continue through this evening before mixing
with sleet and freezing rain overnight. A lull in precipitation
is expected Saturday morning before a strong cold front brings
rapidly falling temperatures, scattered snow showers or squalls,
and strong westerly wind gusts up to 45 mph Saturday afternoon.
Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations
up to one tenth of an inch possible. Nearly all of the
accumulation will occur by daybreak Saturday.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee and De Kalb
Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Friday to 6 PM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
could reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact
the evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
