...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Snow will gradually begin
to mix with sleet and freezing rain overnight. A lull in
precipitation is expected for most of Saturday morning before a
strong cold front brings rapidly falling temperatures, scattered
snow showers, and strong westerly wind gusts up to 45 mph late
Saturday morning into the afternoon. Total snow accumulations of
3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch
possible. Nearly all of the snow and ice accumulation will occur
by daybreak Saturday.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee and De Kalb
Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
could reduce visibility on Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
