EVENING...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM
CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, scattered snow showers
and blowing snow, rapidly falling temperatures, and strong
westerly wind gusts of 45 mph to 50 mph. Minor accumulations
and poor visibility are possible with any snow shower. For the
Wind Chill Advisory, very low wind chills expected. Wind chills
as low as 20 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 PM CST this
evening. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 9 PM this evening
to 10 AM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Blowing and falling snow this afternoon could reduce
visibility. The low wind chills tonight into Sunday morning
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30
minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
