...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Light freezing rain and sleet changing to light rain and
drizzle early this morning, Then a strong cold front brings
rapidly falling temperatures, scattered snow showers, and strong
westerly wind gusts up to 45 mph late this morning into the
afternoon. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice
accumulations up to one tenth of an inch have occurred since
yesterday afternoon. Minor additional accumulations and poor
visibility in snow showers and blowing snow later today.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee and De Kalb
Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing
snow could reduce visibility on Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
