This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION...

this evening and spread east through the Interstate 57 corridor
overnight. Minor snow accumulations are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk Thursday night.
Limited Snow Risk.
Friday...

DISCUSSION:

A slow moving storm system will affect the entire area Thursday
through Saturday morning. Light snow is expected to be the main
precipitation type but some rain is possible during the daylight
hours Thursday and again Friday.

As the storm system moves east of the area Friday afternoon into
Friday evening, there is a potential for moderate snow Friday
night into early Saturday. In total, several inches of snow are
possible by Saturday morning.

There is also a chance for a period of mixed precipitation that
could produce minor icing, mainly late Thursday night into Friday
morning east of Interstate 57.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
