DISCUSSION:
There is increasing potential for a significant storm system to
impact the region late Friday through Saturday night. At this
time, impactful accumulating wintry precipitation is a distinct
possibility across at least portions of the area. However, there
is still high uncertainty with the track and strength of the storm
system, which will ultimately dictate snow and ice accumulations
and what areas are affected. In addition, strong northerly winds
will build waves, bringing a risk for lakeshore flooding.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
