This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Fog Risk.
Significant Snow Risk Tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Fog is expected across the area today, and may become locally
dense.

Snow is expected to redevelop across the area by early this
evening and continue overnight. The snow is expected to fall at a
moderate rate, with some brief periods of heavy snow also possible.
While some uncertainty still exists in exactly where the heaviest
snow will fall tonight, there are strong indications that it will
fall over northern Illinois, north of I-80. In this area 3 to 6
inches may accumulate by early Saturday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Light snow is expected to continue Saturday, with some additional
light accumulations possible.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
