This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk Porter county.

DISCUSSION...

The combination of falling temperatures and west winds gusting to
30 to 35 mph tonight will produce wind chills of 10 below to 20
below zero for much of the area overnight. The lowest wind chills
are expected near and west of a line from McHenry to Aurora to
Pontiac.

The strong westerly winds may lead to minor lakeshore flooding
along the Porter county shoreline through Sunday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk in the morning.
Limited Snow Risk northern Porter County.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk Porter County in the morning.
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Accumulating lake effect snow is expected across portions of
northern Porter County Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.
