...Snow Tonight then Fog and Possible Freezing Drizzle Early
Saturday...

An area of light to occasionally moderate snow will progress
across northern Illinois through the overnight hours into early
Saturday. Wet snow accumulations of a coating to up to an inch
are possible, highest near and south of I-88. Localized amounts of
greater than one inch are possible in portions of north central
Illinois. In the pre- dawn hours of Saturday into Saturday
morning, as the precipitation tapers off, it may mix with or
change to patchy freezing drizzle. Slick spots will be possible on
some roadways from the accumulating wet snow and then wintry mix.
In addition, patchy dense fog is possible overnight into Saturday
morning. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and use extra
caution when driving tonight into Saturday morning.
