...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING
THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...A mix of freezing rain and sleet is likely Friday night
and Saturday, changing to a period of heavy snow late Saturday
afternoon and night. Total ice and sleet accumulations in excess
of two tenths of an inch are possible late Friday night into
Saturday. Total snow accumulations in excess of 6 inches are
also possible late Saturday and Saturday night. Winds could gust
as high as 40 mph Friday night and Saturday.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee and De Kalb
Counties.

* WHEN...Friday evening through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to
the ice and windy conditions. Travel could be significantly
impacted across the area Friday night through Saturday evening.
