This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk.
Limited Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Light snow will continue through early evening before slightly
increasing in coverage and intensity. Snow will likely mix with
or even transition to rain in areas along and east of Interstate
55 as the night progresses. Snow accumulations for tonight through
early Friday morning of one to two inches are most likely, with
slightly over two inches possible in parts of north central
Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

On and off light snow is expected Friday, especially north of
Interstate 80. During early Friday evening, an increase in
coverage and intensity of snow to moderate rates is expected.
This will gradually expand across the rest of the area as
Friday night progresses, with snow ending Saturday morning.
An additional one to three inches, locally higher especially
over north central Illinois, is forecast during this period.
