...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS
MORNING TO NOON CST TODAY...
* WHAT...Freezing drizzle expected. Total ice accumulations of a
light glaze to a few hundredths of an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois,
including the north and west suburbs of Chicago.
* WHEN...From 6 AM to noon CST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are
possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
commute.
* ADDITIONAL NOTES...Areas of fog are also expected this morning
and some of this may cause patchy slick spots as well.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution
while traveling, especially on untreated surfaces.
