TODAY...
* WHAT...Freezing drizzle expected. Little or no additional ice
accumulations expected, but temperatures near freezing may
result in continued slick spots for a few more hours.
* WHERE...Boone, McHenry, and Kane Counties.
* WHEN...Through Noon.
* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are
possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
commute.
* ADDITIONAL NOTES...Patchy fog can also be expected and some of
this may cause patchy slick spots as well.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution
while traveling, especially on untreated surfaces.
