DISCUSSION...
Lingering freezing rain will change to rain early this morning
as temperatures rise above freezing. There is a chance of gusty
snow showers this afternoon across northern Illinois, with the
potential for some blowing snow in open areas across north
central Illinois. Strong westerly winds will gust as high as
40 to 45 mph this afternoon into this evening.
