...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...A strong cold front will bring rapidly falling
temperatures, scattered snow showers, and strong westerly wind
gusts to 45 mph, with brief gusts to 50 mph this afternoon.
Minor accumulations and poor visibility are possible with any
snow shower.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee and De Kalb
Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Rapidly falling temperatures this afternoon will cause
slush or standing water to quickly freeze, potentially creating
icy conditions on walking and driving surfaces.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
