…Snow to Develop across the Area This Afternoon and early Evening…
Snow will develop across much of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana during the afternoon and persist into the early to mid evening hours before ending. Similar to the snow that fell on Friday, this afternoons snow will fall with very cold temperatures, which will result in roads becoming quickly snow covered and very slick. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected along and south of I-88 and I290, with around an inch possible north.
If travel is planed across the area this afternoon and evening, motorists should be prepared to encounter snow covered roads, and slow travel conditions. </pre>
