Extreme Excessive cold Risk. Limited Blowing Snow Risk, mainly in open or rural locations through early this evening.
DISCUSSION…
Blowing and drifting snow will occur in open rural areas through early evening.
An extremely cold air mass and breezy winds will result in life- threatening wind chills.
The threat for localized ice jam flooding will continue on area rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday…
Extreme Excessive Cold Risk. Elevated Snow Risk.
Friday…
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
DISCUSSION:
An accumulating snow of possibly a few inches is likely Thursday from mid-afternoon through evening.
The threat for localized ice jam flooding will continue on area rivers.
