Lake effect snow showers, some heavy, will be seen across northeast Illinois tonight and northwest Indiana late tonight. Accumulation of several inches is likely under the heaviest showers, which will result in at least temporary hazardous travel.
high waves are expected along the shores of Lake Michigan, and may result in minor lake shore flooding.

Lake effect snow showers, some heavy, are likely in northwest Indiana on Sunday. Accumulation of several inches is likely under the heaviest showers, which will result in at least temporary hazardous travel.
A storm system on Tuesday may bring a wintry mix, including possibly freezing rain to parts of the area on Tuesday. Snow is likely with this system on Tuesday night.
