This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Extreme Excessive cold Risk.  Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Wind chills of 25 to 45 below zero will prevail through mid morning.

Snow will develop by mid afternoon across north central Illinois and expand east through early evening. Accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected across the area, with the highest amounts across north central and east central Illinois into portions of northwest Indiana.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

Friday Morning…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Saturday…

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.

Wednesday…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is a chance for freezing drizzle on Saturday through mid afternoon.
