Elevated Excessive Cold Risk. Elevated Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION…
Lake effect snow showers, some heavy, will continue in far northwest Indiana this evening. Additional minor accumulations are expected, but rates may be heavy at times causing impacts to travel. The snow is expected to shift into northeast Illinois late this evening into overnight, possibly providing minor accumulation as well.
Temperatures will drop below zero this evening with wind chills to 10 to 20 below zero.
