This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Snow Risk northwest this morning.

DISCUSSION…

Snow will continue to fall moderately across northwest portions  of the forecast area this morning before ending early this  afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday night and Friday…

Significant Excessive Cold Risk.

Saturday…

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

Sunday and Monday…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Tuesday…

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

An arctic air mass will bring a period of bitterly cold conditions Thursday night into next week. Wind chill values of -20 to -30F will be possible late Thursday night into Friday morning.
