…Areas of Blowing Snow Through Early Evening…
Blowing snow is being observed across many open areas of north central and northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana this afternoon. This is likely to continue through at least early this evening as northeast to north winds continue to gust to 30 to 35 mph.
Allow extra travel time and be cautious, as some hazardous road conditions will persist due to snow covered roads. In addition, brief very low visibility is possible in some locations due to blowing snow. </pre>
