Areas of fog will persist across portions of northeast Illinois through sunrise. Visibility of under a mile can be expected…with localized areas of visibility under a half mile possible. Fog should gradually improve by mid-morning. If heading out for your commute early this morning, be prepared for reduced visibility in fog. Exercise caution, slow down, and use your low beam headlights for better visibility in the fog. </pre>
