This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Ice accumulation Risk north tonight.  Limited Snow Risk north.

DISCUSSION…

A wintry mix of light snow and light freezing rain is possible tonight. Light snow accumulations are likely for at least along and north of I-90.

Flooding will continue on portions of the Des Plaines, Illinois, Pecatonica and Rock rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday Morning…

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk north.

Friday…

Limited Snow Risk.

Saturday Night and Sunday…

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

Monday…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is potential for snow Friday and Friday night, followed by unseasonably cold conditions for the weekend into early next week.

Flooding will continue on portions of the Des Plaines, Illinois, Pecatonica and Rock rivers.
