This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Significant Non thunderstorm Wind Risk.  Limited Excessive Cold Risk.  Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk in Northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION…

Very strong westerly winds will continue into this evening, with a gradual diminishing through the night. Isolated damage remains possible with these winds.

The winds and high waves may produce minor coastal flooding, mainly for the Porter County, Indiana shore.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.  Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

Wednesday…

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.

Friday…

Limited Snow Risk.

Saturday…

Limited Snow Risk.  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.  Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is potential for accumulating snow later Friday into early Saturday, followed by unseasonably cold conditions for the weekend.
