This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected…
Limited Excessive Cold Risk this morning. Limited Snow Risk after midnight.
DISCUSSION…
Temperatures will be in the single digits and teens this morning with wind chills of 0 to 15 below. Light snow will begin to overspread the area tonight after midnight and continue through the day Sunday.
In addition, flooding will continue on portions of the Illinois and Kankakee rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.
Sunday…
Elevated Snow Risk.
Tuesday night and Wednesday…
Limited Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Light snow will continue across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana through the day Sunday. A few additional Lake effect snow showers will continue for portions of northeastern Illinois Sunday night. Light accumulations are possible.
In addition, flooding will continue on portions of the Illinois and Kankakee rivers.
