This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Excessive cold Risk.  Limited Non-thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION…

A strong cold front will push across the area this evening. Strong winds and a sharp drop in temperatures will occur in the wake of this front. This will result in wind chill readings as low as 10 degrees below zero west of the Fox Valley and I-55.

In addition, flooding will continue on portions of the Illinois, Kankakee, Kishwaukee and the Rock rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

Friday…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Saturday and Sunday…

Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Flooding will continue on portions of the Illinois, Kankakee, Kishwaukee and the Rock rivers.
