This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Excessive cold Risk northwest tonight.  Limited Ice accumulation Risk north through mid morning.

DISCUSSION…

A wintry mix of snow and freezing drizzle is expected primarily north of I-88 through mid-morning.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Illinois, Pecatonica, and Rock rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.

Saturday night through Sunday morning…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Sunday night through Tuesday morning…

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Bitterly cold air will return to the region Saturday night and persist into early next week.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Illinois, Pecatonica, and Rock rivers.
