This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Ice accumulation Risk.  Limited Snow and Sleet Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Snow will increase across the area early this morning from southwest to northeast,  then begin a quick transition to freezing rain around daybreak. Ice  accumulation to around one tenth of an inch is possible on top of  light snow to around 2 inches. Caution is urged during the morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.

Friday night…

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.

Saturday night…

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

Sunday…

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
