The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
Flood Advisory for The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
until Thursday evening.
At 830 AM Friday the stage was 8.9 feet.
Action stage is 9.0 feet.
Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
Forecast…The river will rise to near 9.2 feet by Saturday evening, then remain above 9.0 feet into the middle of next week.
