This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Ice accumulation Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Snow will increase across the area tonight from southwest to northeast,  then begin a transition to freezing rain.  This transition will begin  in far southern portions of the outlook area but work its way toward  I-80 by daybreak.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday…

Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

Friday…

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.

Saturday…

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

Sunday…

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Snow and freezing rain early Wednesday will transition to  drizzle by mid afternoon.
