PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Ice jams may cause rapid fluctuations in water levels with little or no warning. During ice jam flooding, not all locations may experience impacts at the same time or to the same level of severity. Movement of river ice may cause additional flooding into areas not currently experiencing impacts. Residents near the river should remain alert for possible flooding.

The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
until Monday morning.
At 630 PM Saturday the stage was 8.7 feet and was ice affected.
Action stage is 9.0 feet.
Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
Forecast…The river will remain near action stage through Sunday. Ice jams can result in rapid rises in water levels with little or no warning.
