This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION:

A deep low will lift across the region this weekend. There is a chance some locations could see some freezing rain late Friday night into Saturday morning before temperatures warm above freezing. This threat is greatest over far northern Illinois. A cold front will sweep across the region Saturday night bringing strong winds that will persist through the day Sunday and drive bitterly cold temperatures back into the area.
