Limited Excessive cold Risk.
DISCUSSION…
A cold front passed through the region overnight leaving bitterly cold temperatures and gusty winds. Wind chills of 5 to 15 below will be in place west of the I-55 corridor this morning.
In addition, flooding will continue on portions of the Illinois, Kankakee, and Kishwaukee rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.
Saturday…
Limited Excessive Cold Risk Saturday Morning. Limited Snow Risk late Saturday night.
Sunday…
Limited Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Snow will overspread the region late Saturday night and continue through the day Sunday. Light accumulations are expected area- wide.
In addition, flooding will continue on portions of the Illinois, Kankakee, and Kishwaukee rivers.
