Wind chills of 10 below to 20 below zero are expected across the area this morning, with the lowest wind chills over north central Illinois.

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.  Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

Wednesday…

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A wintry mix of light snow and light freezing rain is possible Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. There is potential for snow Friday into early Saturday, followed by unseasonably cold conditions for the weekend.
