Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Strong west winds will increase into tonight, gusting to 40 to 50 mph. The strong winds could down ice covered tree limbs and power lines, and lead to falling ice. With snow showers in the area through tonight, these winds may lead to significant visibility reductions, blowing snow, and minor accumulations up to 1 inch.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Friday and Saturday Mornings…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk across north Central Illinois.

Sunday…

Limited Snow Risk.
