This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk west of Interstate 39 overnight.

DISCUSSION…

Showers and some thunderstorms are expected to gradually overspread the area overnight. Severe weather is not expected, but heavy downpours and perhaps isolated ponding or minor flooding could occur, mainly west of Interstate 39.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Friday through Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.

DISCUSSION:

A slow moving low pressure system will move across the region Wednesday into Thursday. Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected, some of which may produce heavy downpours and potentially localized flooding Wednesday and Wednesday night.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving toward northeast at around 15 mph.
