This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:     Limited hail risk...up to quarter.     Elevated damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.  Significant Flooding Risk.  Elevated Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered thunderstorms are likely through tonight. Some of the storms could become severe with the primary risk being locally damaging winds. In addition, due to the very moist air mass in place, the potential exists for locally heavy rainfall which could result in a flash flood threat.
