This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:  Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.  Limited Flooding Risk.  Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Thunderstorms moving through the area this evening could pose an  isolated risk of damaging winds but the more likely threat is  from heavy rain.
Patchy dense fog is possible overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Fog Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Friday through Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Showers and thunderstorms are possible each day through the  weekend, with late Thursday through Friday appearing to be the  most favorable period at this time. Activity this weekend would  most likely be focused during the afternoon and early  evening...and more favored away from where cooler air is coming  off the lake.

Spotters are encouraged to report areas of heavy rain or any  localized flooding this evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east northeast at 35 mph.
