This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Lakeshore Flood Risk  High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION…

Isolated to thunderstorms are possible over the area this afternoon and this evening over the Chicago metropolitan area into northwest Indiana. Some of the storms will likely produce very heavy downpours.

Also, large, battering waves are likely on Lake Michigan this afternoon and tonight. These large waves could result in some minor lakeshore flooding and will result in life threatening swim conditions at Lake Michigan beaches.
