This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk Limited Flooding Risk. Elevated Excessive heat Risk.
DISCUSSION…
Isolated thunderstorms are possible along and northwest of a line from Dixon to Harvard Illinois through midday. Severe weather is not expected at this time. Additional thunderstorms are possible very late tonight mainly for far northern Illinois. A few stronger storms will be possible during this time.
Hot and humid conditions are likely today, with heat indices at or above 105 degrees expected for areas along and south of I-88.

Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk. Elevated Flooding Risk. Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday…
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Hot and humid conditions are possible again Tuesday, with heat indices possibly reaching 100 to 105 degrees in some locations. In addition, there are periodic chances for thunderstorms with severe storms producing heavy rainfall possible, especially Tuesday into Wednesday.
