This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Significant Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION…

A few non-severe storms may be seen east of Interstate 55 through midnight.

Fog is likely in places overnight, some of which may be dense, most favored in low-lying locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Thursday.

Sunday…

Significant Fog Risk in the morning.  Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk.  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Monday…

Limited Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday through Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Hot and humid conditions are expected through Tuesday with heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees probable in places. In addition, there will be periodic chances for thunderstorms, with severe storms possible late Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening particularly for north of Interstate 80.
