This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:     Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.  Limited Flooding Risk.  Limited Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage late this morning into afternoon, with scattered thunderstorms possibly lingering into this evening. Some of the thunderstorms may be capable of isolated damaging winds, mainly south of Interstate

  1. In addition, locally heavy rainfall will be likely with

some thunderstorms, and this could result in isolated flooding.

Patchy fog, some dense, will be seen early this morning and is possible again overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Thursday through Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

While there may be a few stronger storms, spotter activation is not anticipated today and tonight.
