DISCUSSION…
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely this afternoon into mid-evening. Some of these will have heavy downpours. While rainfall amounts will not be uniform across the area, the slow movement of the system and slow individual shower and thunderstorm movement may produce quick local rainfall amounts of one to two inches, with isolated higher amounts possible. Showers and storms will decrease in coverage later this evening.
