DISCUSSION…
Thunderstorms are possible across the area later this evening. There is also a limited risk for strong to severe thunderstorms mainly west of Interstate 39 in northwest Illinois with large hail and heavy rainfall the main threats.
Dangerous swim conditions are likely at Illinois Lake Michigan beaches.
