A slow moving low pressure system will lift northeast across the region today through Thursday. While rainfall amounts will not be uniform across the area, the slow movement of the system and slow individual shower and thunderstorm movement may produce local 1 to 2 inch rainfall amounts, with isolated higher amounts possible. Showers and storms will decrease in coverage overnight tonight.
