This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk.  Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely through this evening across much of the outlook area with have heavy downpours the main threat. While rainfall amounts will not be uniform across the area, the slow movement of the system and slow individual shower and thunderstorm movement may produce quick local rainfall amounts of one to two inches, with isolated higher amounts possible. Showers and storms will decrease in coverage by late this evening.

Areas of fog, with patchy dense fog, are likely.
