This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk tonight  Limited Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION…

A few thunderstorms could shift into far northern IL late tonight. Severe weather is not expected with any of these storms, though some gusty winds will be possible with any storms that make it into the area late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday…

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk.

Wednesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Friday and Saturday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms are probable Monday and Tuesday, with some risk for severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall Monday afternoon and evening. Another round of strong to severe storms and heavy rain will be possible Tuesday, mainly south of I80.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
