Weather hazards expected…
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Fog Risk.
DISCUSSION…
A cold front will move across the area this afternoon, with scattered thunderstorms developing along and ahead of it. The highest coverage of storms is expected to be roughly from Interstate 55 southeastward, with isolated stronger storms capable of producing strong gusty winds and some hail. All thunderstorms will be capable of producing occasional or frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy downpours.

Limited Fog Risk.
Saturday…
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Sunday and Monday…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Hot and humid conditions are expected Saturday and Sunday and possibly Monday, with maximum heat index values into the mid to upper 90s each day. Thunderstorms are probable at times late Sunday through Tuesday, with some risk for stronger thunderstorms possible.
