This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Wednesday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday and Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A slow moving low pressure system will move through the region Tuesday night through Thursday. Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected, some of which may produce torrential downpours and at least localized flooding. The current time period of greatest concern for heavy rainfall and flooding is in the pre dawn hours of Wednesday through Wednesday night.
